Senior Authorised Person – 12 month rolling contract – Scotland – Day rate, outside IR35 – Distribution – April Start


I am looking for an 11kV Senior Authorised Person with SPEN authorisations. You will be responsible for Safety from the System and assisting the asset replacement on the networks. This opportunity is a 12-month contract offering up to 5 years’ worth of work You MUST be S1 authorised.


Requirements

  • Previous authorisations 11kV as a Senior Authorised Person under Scottish Power Energy Networks safety rules as an S1 SAP.
  • 33kV SAP authorisations are desirable but not essential
  • Experience as a fitter is desirable but not essential
  • Solid understanding of Electrical Safety


Responsibilities

  • Supporting on the 11kV OHL and Underground networks up to 11kV
  • Ensuring successful delivery on the projects
  • Assisting with storm duties as and when required
  • Organising and executing outages when required
  • Issue safety documents and permits
  • Cancellation of safety documents when works complete
  • Operate compliantly under the client’s safety rules
  • Issue limitation of access documents
  • Writing and then implementing switching schedules
  • Reporting to the client with updates on project progress


Logistics:

  • April start date
  • All inclusive day rate, outside IR35
  • Monday to Friday
  • 12 month rolling contract
  • Scotland
