Nursery Manager

Salary: £38,000 to £45,000 per year
Hours: 8 hours shifts Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent Full-time
We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager for a fantastic nursery in the Haringey area.
Candidates must hold a minimum level 3 Childcare and have experience of previously managing a day nursery either at Manager or Deputy Manager level.
As Nursery Manager, you will:
* Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery.
* Ensure that company policies and procedures are embedded, applied and adhered to by all.
* Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement any recommendations.
* Embed effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff.
* Ensure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources which are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
* Promote a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery.
* Manage any complaints or concerns raised in a thorough and timely manner and inform senior management.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file.
* Participate in all activities related to nursery publications, advertising, public relations, the web site, and other marketing activities designed to promote the nursery.
* Promote positive relations with an approachable manner and time to listen to your team.
* Ensuring a high standard of care and education, safety and safeguarding,
* Maintain a professional and happy environment, occupancy growth, coaching, training and more.
Requirements :
For our nursery, we are looking for experienced leaders to join us;
* Must be Level 3 qualified or above.
* Experience with an Early Years Leadership role ideally as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or similar.
* A confident leader who has successfully participated in Ofsted inspections with “Good” or “Outstanding” outcomes.
* An inspirational Nursery manager that can develop a high performing team
* Deliver stimulating methods of learning to help shape individual needs, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Lead a team of exceptional people towards a common goal.
* Have experience with business and commerce elements of the Nursery running's.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and compliance procedures.
* Ability to build trusting relationships with parents, colleague, children and external partners
