Academics LTD are working with numerous, excellent secondary schools in and around the Westbury area who are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join ASAP / September 2024. We are looking to appoint proactive, hardworking & enthusiastic people to oversee lessons and support students learning. Whilst maintaining the schools high standards for behaviour, when teacher colleagues are absent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience working within the education sector or for someone who is aspiring to begin a career in education. This is also a perfect chance for a graduate looking to take their first step into teaching. (GCSE's in Maths or English (C or above) is required). Main Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor will be:
Manage the behaviour of students to ensure they are working in a constructive learning environment
Oversee the work set by the class teacher

Commitment to the safeguarding and health and safety of the studentsIdeal Cover Supervisor will have:
Previous experience working in a school setting
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A passion and commitment to support students in their learning
