About us…

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful service delivery organisation as an HR Administrator, based in Winnersh, Berkshire. HPE Customer Delivery Services (CDS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise whilst operating as a separate legal entity.

The role is a key member of the HR team for UK&I reporting directly to the Head of HR and supporting the HR Business Partners for CDS. We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator who has a flexible, determined, pragmatic and energetic approach. Strong organisational and time management skills along with an excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills are key requirements together with the ability to manage a variety of HR challenges.

This job operates in an interesting, challenging, fast paced and commercial environment which would suit a proactive, fast learner and someone who thrives in an environment of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities to include

Maintaining the HR database (Workday) and administering transactions through various systemsnLiaising with the Payroll Team and other internal departments in line with HR proceduresnGeneral administration including supporting the wider HR teamnAdministering and liaising with the benefits provider for any benefits related queriesnAssisting with onboarding activities for new hires, including paperwork completion and orientationnProducing and administering employee correspondencenProcessing administration of leaversnProducing standard and ad hoc reportsnMeeting coordination and facilitationnFirst point of contact on general HR enquiries from employees and managersnPoint of contact for all ongoing queries and activities with external providersnAssisting with reviewing and sending wider company communications

Essential Skills

Must have proven experience in HR administration, approximately 2+ years in a similar environmentnStrong attention to detailnOrganised and able to prioritise and work to tight deadlinesnPractical and flexiblenWilling to contribute to team discussions and take ideas forwardnStrong interpersonal skills and experience of working with senior stakeholdersnProficient in data entry and record keeping on HR systemsnExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalnAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionnAdvanced MS Office skillsnWorking knowledge of HR practices and functions

Desirable Skills

CIPD qualified or equivalentnExperience using WorkdaynProficient working knowledge of SharePoint

The role will be full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday and is entitled to the company flexible benefits package which includes private medical insurance, pension scheme and health cash plan, buying and selling additional holidays and free parking. Must be available to be in the Winnersh office at least one day a week. Flexible working and career progression will be considered for the right candidate.
