Interim Planning Enforcement OfficernLondon Basedn£32-£35 per hour (Via an Umbrella Company)nFull time - 1-2 days in office/on site per weekn3 months rolling contract.

Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in London to facilitate the appointment of a Planning Enforcement to join the council's planning department.

Responsibilities of the Role:nInvestigating complaints and reports of potential planning violations, such as unauthorised developments, breaches of planning conditions, and unpermitted land use activities.nConducting site visits and inspections to assess the nature and extent of alleged violations, gathering evidence, and documenting findings.nLiaising with property owners, developers, stakeholders, and members of the public to address concerns, provide information on planning regulations, and facilitate resolution of enforcement issues.nIssuing enforcement notices, stop notices, breach of condition notices, and other enforcement actions in accordance with relevant legislation and council policies.nMonitoring compliance with enforcement notices and taking appropriate follow-up actions.nMaintaining accurate records, case files, and documentation related to enforcement activities.

To be successful in the role you will have:nExperience working within a Local Authority setting.nPrevious experience in planning enforcement, development control, or a similar regulatory role.nExperience managing complex stakeholder relationship.

Next StepsnThis role is an initial 3-month contract with extension and offering up to £32-£35 per hour paid via an Umbrella Company Dependent on experience. Office or sire visits are 1-2 days per week, with the remainder remote.
