We are currently recruiting full time, part time and bank support workers to support an individual with autism and a learning disability within the DUNSTABLE area.

The individual will be living on their own so we are looking for Care Workers who can provide 360 wrap around support that covers all aspects of their life.

About The Role
You will be part of a small team of dedicated Support Workers and working alongside the Team Leader and PBS practitioner in providing excellent support to a young man who requires everyday support to enjoy a quality life. This young man has a moderate learning disability and autism and needs a team to help him access the community and develop his skills within his home and out of it.
You, the other Support Workers and the Team Leader will also be implementing the PBS strategies under the guidance and direction of the PBS Practitioner who has assessed his needs and understands the correct strategies to enable him to receive quality outcomes and empower him to fulfil his desires. You will be a positive role model and you will bring our values to life and share our passion and commitment to always strive to find creative ways to enrich the lives of those we support.
You will have a willingness to undertake training on Positive Behaviour Support, safeguarding vulnerable adults, autism, learning disabilities, and person centred planning, Total communication and other specific training that will be provided. You will be line managed by the Team Leader
The role will require Support Workers to provide personal care. If you are not comfortable providing personal care please do not apply for this position.

Schedule:
  • 12 hour shifts - 0800 to 20:00 / 20:00 to 08:00
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
  • Overtime

Licence/Certification:
  • Autism (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence Manual Cars Only (MUST)

*Refer a friend bonus is payable at
