Software Engineer (m/f/d) Telematics – Coventry office in the UK

Your Tasks:nSupport local debugging activities (SW issue reproduction, log capture/analysis, and problem solving)nGood SW background in Automotive IndustrynPerform root-cause analysis, use data to identify the scope and scale of impactnProvide technical support for SW issues debug and resolutionsnManage JIRA Ticket system and take an ownership of issues from start to finishnEngage with customer face to face / attend meetings and cascade information to relevant partiesnContribute to the development of product / system architecture based on elicitation and understanding of client needs/requirementsnWork with SW Engineering team in HQ (Korea) and with our 3rd Parties (worldwide) to support SW implementationnActive involvement in regular and irregular communications including meetings with customers is needednPerform validation test based on LG test process, and reporting/Managing validation resultsnOn-site support to JLR plants dealerships and other customer sites including EU travel

Your Expertise:nDegree level in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of experience and educationnExperience in Telematics or in Automotive (at least 4-5 year of experience is desired)nExperience working with Linux OS or QNX-based hypervisor SW platform is a plusnExperience in CAN networks and taking CAN tracesnExperience in Jaguar Land Rover system and processesnKnowledge of software engineering and process maturity modelsnPositive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and drive results
