Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnosed and troubleshot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with manufacturing equipment.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all engineering activities.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source replacement parts and equipment when necessary.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and productivity. Skills & Qualifications:
City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is preferred.
Proven experience in the HGV industry.
Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, automation systems, and PLCs.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial environment
