Job: MET Technician
Salary/OTE: £38K Plus Monthly Bonus
Area: Darlington
Ascend Talent is seeking a MET Technician to join an accident repair centre based in Darlington. As an MET Technician you will be responsible for all mechanical, electrical & trim aspects of the vehicles entrusted with the ARC. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods.
Responsibilities: As an MET Technician your responsibilities include:
* Ensure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that quality checks are undertaken in line with our process.
* To dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the repair estimate
* Advise the Bodyshop Team Leader of any additional work identified when working on a vehicle.
* Check that all parts are ordered as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay, returning all unused parts to the parts department for credit.
Experience/Skill:
* Previous experience as a MET Technician or similar role in the automotive repair industry.
* Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of vehicle repair techniques.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
* MET: 3 years (preferred)
Package:
* Competitive salary plus monthly bonus
* Hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
* Competitive salary plus team bonus.
* 30 days holiday including public holidays.
