Location: Mansfield / North Nottingham area
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Delivery team and oversee the WINEP5 patch in the Mansfield/North Nottingham area. The successful candidate will manage the design, construction, commissioning, and operational phases of contracts, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, within specifications, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared and approved prior to commencement.
* Ensure all records referred to in the PEP are complete and available at contract completion.
* Report all site non-conformities and identify approximate costs.
* Manage all commercial aspects of the project proactively, providing accurate forecasts and estimates.
* Utilise project management practices from scheme conception to end user acceptance.
* Engage in external networking and conferences to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
* Ensure customer requirements are met with the aim of enhancing customer perception and satisfaction.
* Maintain practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with water and wastewater design and build projects.
Essential:
* Project Management experience in multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering discipline.
* Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.
* Ability to work in close partnership with clients, stakeholders, and end users.
* Delivery-driven with the ability to set targets and motivate multi-disciplinary teams.
* Strategic, operational, technical, and management skills.
* Knowledge of Construction Contracts (NEC and/or IChemE) with negotiation and administration ability.
* Ability to present at Governance Reviews.
* Risk & Opportunity Management experience.
* Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
Desirable:
* Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants.
* Chartered with an engineering, commercial, or construction institution.
* NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
