A global company in the access control and security industry are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join the team. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet required quality standards.
You will be an experienced Quality Inspector with a high attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
Inspection of incoming finished products, components and materials

Ensuring products comply with relevant quality standards

Use inspection techniques and tools to assess quality of products (i.e. calipers, micrometres, gauges and visual aids)

Visually inspect products/components for defects and discrepancies

Documentation and reporting – clearly and concisely documenting any defects and findings, maintain detailed inspection reports

Work closely with production teams, engineering and external suppliers to rectify quality issues

Resolve non conformances and help implement corrective and preventative actions
Experience:        
Experienced Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment

Good knowledge and understanding of quality control techniques and principles

Experience with quality control tools, i.e. calipers, micrometres, gauges and visual aids

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Excellent attention to detail with good analytical skills
