With a view to succession planning, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager.

Suitable candidates should have a successful track record in a similar electrical design/engineering role. Experience within commercial, industrial or process industries with a water heating products or system manufacturer or something closely related is naturally beneficial but not essential. We’re looking for individuals with a good understanding of all aspects of Electrical Engineering and a strong technical appreciation as follows:

Responsibilities

Identify customer requirementsnAssist with spare parts selection.nDesign systems and productsnRead design specs and technical drawingsnCreating project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software.nEstimating costs and project timings.nManage projects and deliver them on timenMaking sure projects meet safety regulations.nAttending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.nProviding technical assistance.nProblem-solving and analysis of issues.nAssess the tools and information required to develop solutions

Proven expertise as an electrical engineernHands-on experience using design and calculation softwarenUnderstanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standardsnKnowledge of heating and ventilation is beneficialnAttention to detailnStrong organisational and communication skills.nDegree in Electrical Engineering discipline preferable.
