Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in both commercial and domestic environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead a team of technicians and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Mechanical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage mechanical installations across commercial sites.
* Lead a team of skilled plumbers & pipefitters, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently.
* As the Mechanical Supervisor, ensure all projects adhere to health and safety regulations.
* coordinate and supervise daily operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
* Monitor progress, address issues on-site, and provide technical guidance to the team.
* Prepare and manage job reports, maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders.
* Conduct regular inspections and ensure high-quality work standards are maintained at all times.
Mechanical Supervisor Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in commercial
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, and plumbing.
* Relevant mechanical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Mechanical Supervisor Skills Required:
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in both commercial and domestic environments.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
* As a Mechanical Supervisor, you must be detail-oriented, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
* Experience with budgeting and cost control in project management.
* Ability to troubleshoot and provide hands-on solutions when needed.
