I have an amazing opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding team. My client is committed to the most advanced technologies and process methods of carbon fibre recovery. Working for many industries such as automotive and rail.
My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for contributing to innovative and transformational ideas. The role will play an integral part to the technical team, carrying out electrical and mechanical work on new and existing machinery.
Maintenance Engineer Role Benefits:
* Salary £38,000
* Premium OT.
* 28 days holiday (rising with service).

Duties of Maintenance Engineer include:
* Days - 08:00 to 16:30
* Development of detailed plans to turn ideas into products, new processes, or new equipment.
* Modification, retrofit and commissioning of equipment and trials of new processes.
* To detect and repair electrical faults and modify where required.
* Have a good understanding of Siemens and/or Allan Bradley PLC’s.
* Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical motors.
* Installations and commissioning.
* Materials processing on R&D equipment (Training will be provided).
As a Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
* Recognised engineering qualification.
* 18th edition.
* Proven knowledge of industrial process equipment.
* Able to work at heights.
* Previous experience in a similar role within the textile or composite industry would be advantageous but not essential.
* Have at least 2 years proven experience of working in a maintenance role within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Confident self-starter who can work on own initiative but also a team player within a small department.
* Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
