Tax Director - Law Firm Location: London Flexible hybrid working + competitive salary + strong benefits An industry-leading professional services firm is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Tax Manager to step into a key leadership role as Tax Director. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing tax function operating across multiple jurisdictions, supporting senior stakeholders and driving strategic international tax initiatives. The Role: As Tax Director, you will support the Head of Tax across a wide range of international and partnership tax matters. You’ll play a critical role in managing complex cross-border structures, ensuring compliance, advising partners globally, and contributing to major projects spanning multiple offices and territories. You’ll collaborate closely with HR, Finance and Legal teams, provide strategic input, and act as a trusted advisor to the business on international tax issues. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head of Tax on partnership and international tax projects Provide advisory and compliance support for international managers and LLP members Work closely with internal teams to assess tax risk and deliver compliant solutions Manage external tax advisers and align their work with internal policies Support tax policy development for international partners, consultants and branch employees Monitor global tax legislation changes and assess business impact Contribute to internal training and develop best-practice tax knowledge across the organisation About You Required: ACA / CTA (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience Deep expertise in international and partnership tax Strong understanding of LLP structures and cross-border tax frameworks Background in professional services or a partnership environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Confident leading complex, multi-jurisdictional projects Desirable: Transfer pricing knowledge Experience with tax systems across multiple jurisdictions Familiarity with Elite 3e or CCH (not essential) What’s on Offer Competitive salary with annual reviews Flexible hybrid working Generous bonus scheme Up to 28 days’ holiday with service Holiday trading options Private medical insurance Enhanced parental leave A supportive, inclusive culture with clear opportunities to grow and progress
