They are looking for a Physical Design Manager to take the reigns of the company’s backend design practice and manage the delivery of cross-disciplinary projects. The Physical Design Manager will build and manage a growing team of digital backend designers, as well as DFT and analog engineers. This person will also establish the Backend “eco system” – partners, suppliers (FABs, EDA vendors), etc. This role will be a mix of people-management, leading pre-sales activities and some hands-on work.
The right candidate will be an energetic Physical Design expert looking to grow in a Managerial role. Requirements include:
Expertise in Digital Backend / Physical Design, with an in-depth understanding of the RTL-GDSII flownStrong technical leadership abilitynCapable of effectively managing project delivery, in terms of quality, cost and schedulenAn excellent communicator in English
Hybrid working is available from our client’s Berkshire design centre, which is easily accessible from the M4.
