Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to work within our SEND Schools in Barnet, Northwest London, supporting pupils with ASC and SEMH needs. We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Learning Support Assistant, that will be able to support pupils daily in the classroom. Some of the pupils you will be supporting will have various send needs, experience of supporting different needs would be desirable but not essential. You will play a key role in supporting the pupils with communication, learning, and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development.
Job Responsibilities
Supporting pupils with ASC
Supervising pupil's behaviour
Encourage and support the pupils learning and development.
Support social interaction.
Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities.Benefits to you

Job Requirements
Experience of support children or adults with ASC/SEMH - desirable
Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities - desirable.

Available 5 days a week
Able to commit to 6-12 months.
