EM/LATAM FX Options Trader

Overview:Our client, a leading global financial institution is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FX Options Trader to join its Emerging Markets desk, with a focus on Latin America. This is a front-office trading role offering exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the EM FX options franchise. Key Responsibilities: Price and manage risk in EM FX options, with a primary focus on LATAM currencies. Execute trades and manage positions across a range of products including vanilla and exotic options. Collaborate closely with sales, structuring, and research teams to deliver client solutions and market insights. Monitor market developments and macroeconomic trends impacting LATAM FX markets. Ensure compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Proven experience trading EM FX options, ideally with a LATAM focus. Strong understanding of options pricing, risk management, and market microstructure. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick, informed decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with LATAM political and economic landscapes. Experience working with institutional clients and delivering tailored solutions. Proficiency in relevant trading platforms and risk systems.
