Senior GPU Graphics Algorithm Engineer


European Tech Recruit are working closely with a multinational telecommunications company, based in Cambridge, who are looking for a Senior GPU Graphics Algorithm Engineer to join their team and work at the forefront of 3D graphics algorithm development.


Responsibilities as Senior GPU Graphics Algorithm Engineer :

  • Propose new ideas & develop new graphics/rendering algorithms for mobile GPU.
  • Analyze GPU applications to generate performance/power improvement.
  • Profile & optimize rendering code & GPU shaders.


Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in relevant discipline (CS, EE, etc.).
  • Graphic knowledge: GBuffer, Ray tracing & Global Illumination & Screen space processing like SSAO / motion vector.
  • Hands on experience with Vulkan API e.g. ray tracing with Vulkan API.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following graphics API: Vulkan, OpenGL, Metal, DirectX11 or 12 and/or OpenCL.
  • Excellent programming skills using C or C++.


Desirable experience:

  • PhD in relevant field.
  • Advanced rendering algorithm development experience.
  • Game engine experience such as Unity or Unreal.
  • Mobile game development experience.
