Cover Supervisor

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. While you won’t be required to plan or mark work, your ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and foster a positive learning environment will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain focused and productive.
Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
Provide support to students as needed and answer any questions relating to the lesson.
Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school staff.
Requirements:
A degree in any subject is essential.
Previous experience working within a school setting is highly desirable.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive and proactive approach to education.
