The business delivers and manages projects end to end from design through to installation, manufacture & commissioning.nWith over 40 years trading experience and nearly 100 members of staff, the business has continued to push the boundaries and develop new and advanced solutions that are transforming the specialised industry they work within.nWe are currently supporting the business in the recruitment of a Senior Chemical Process Engineer; this is fantastic opportunity for a Chemical Process Engineer to join a cutting-edge, forward-thinking business.

The RolenAs a Senior Chemical Process Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for running all process engineering aspects of projects from process design through to process commissioning and optimisation at site. You will be working on projects varying from 12-18months within the aluminium sector.

During a typical project your core responsibilities will be:

Development of process design and P&IDsnInvolvement in HAZOPnCreating functional design specificationsnProducing process flow and block flow diagrams.nCarrying out mass and energy balance calculations.nCreating the user requirement specification for the process.nSizing of process plant equipment.nFactory acceptance and customer acceptance testing.nCarrying out process commissioning at customer site.

The CandidatenMy client is looking for a Senior Chemical Process Engineer with:

Several years demonstrable experience in process designnA Chemical Engineering DegreenSomeone who has happy to travel and wants to be involved in projects from design through to process commissioning.
