Position: Head of Finance

Role Summary: As the Head of Finance, you will orchestrate the creation, enhancement, and execution of financial processes and partnerships. You will spearhead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, fostering commercial acumen and delivering comprehensive financial insights across all sales channels and marketing expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Finance: Generate impactful insights through meticulous financial analysis. Develop models to bolster decision-making and collaborate with stakeholders to scrutinize P&Ls, assess investments, and analyze margins and costs, propelling profitability.
• Reporting: Manage prompt reporting and forecasting, ensuring monthly KPIs, cash flow projections, covenant evaluations, and daily to monthly performance metrics are accurate and timely.
• Business Partnering: Champion monthly cash flow and variance assessments, cultivate finance partnerships, and conduct regular meetings to guarantee precise reporting and ongoing reforecasting.
• Budgets and Forecasts: Direct the annual budget and quarterly reforecast schedules, working closely with the Board and finance team to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
• Strategy and Investments: Collaborate with the owner to drive corporate strategy, engage in additional investments, and oversee the execution of the 3-year business plan.

Location: While based in Somerset, this role also accommodates candidates from the South West of England, with weekly commutes to our Somerset office. The position entails a hybrid work arrangement, with an estimated 2 days on-site and 1 day remote per week. Please note, this role is not feasible for those outside the South West of England or without UK work authorization.

Your Expertise:

• Finance Business Partnering: Proven track record in finance business partnering, with the ability to engage and influence decision-making at all levels.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting.
• Leadership and Executive Engagement: Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including Board-level presentations and discussions.
• Analytical Prowess: Demonstrable analytical skills, a process-oriented mindset, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication: Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Adaptability: Organized and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Industry Insight: Experience in the fashion or luxury goods sector is advantageous.
