About the Firm
Our client is an established, full-service law firm that has proudly served the South West region for many years. 
As their Private Wealth department continues to expand, the firm is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Paralegal to join the Exeter-based team. In this varied and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to:
Private Client Paralegal Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of probate administration, including liaising with institutions and overseeing the payment of liabilities and legacies

Prepare powers of attorney and assist with attorney/trust administration matters

Ensure meticulous file management, from opening to archiving and billing

Schedule and compile legal documentation

Attend client meetings to facilitate the signing of documents like wills

Build strong client relationships and support the team's marketing initiatives
Private Client Paralegal Requirements:
A genuine passion for client service and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a diverse workload

Superb written and verbal communication abilities

A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues

Attention to detail and a methodical, logical way of working

A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary within private client matters would be highly advantageous, but applications from driven entry-level candidates will also be considered.
