An exciting opportunity has arrived for a Pizza Chef to join our expanding team at Riverside East, located in the Olympic Park, London. You will work under the Head Chef, producing freshly made woodfired pizzas, accommodating customers' requests. You will have a passion for creating delicious dishes and a love for all things Pizza

As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas according to established recipes and standards. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality food, cleanliness, and efficiency in the pizza kitchen.

Responsibilities:nPizza Preparation:nPrepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes.nHand-stretch and shape dough to create pizza bases of desired size and thickness.nApply sauces, cheeses, and toppings evenly and with attention to presentation.

Cooking and Baking:nOperate pizza ovens and ensure they are set at the correct temperature.nMonitor cooking times and adjust temperatures as needed to ensure pizzas are cooked properly.nRotate pizzas in the oven to ensure even cooking and browning.

Quality Control:nEnsure that all pizzas meet quality standards in terms of taste, appearance, and portion size.nInspect ingredients for freshness and quality before use.nAdhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Menu Development:nCollaborate with kitchen management on creating and refining pizza menu offerings.nExperiment with new ingredients and flavor combinations to create innovative pizzas.nEnsure consistency in pizza quality and taste across all orders.

Kitchen Organization and Cleanliness:nKeep pizza station and work area clean, sanitized, and organized.nMaintain inventory of pizza ingredients and notify management of shortages or replenishments needed.nAssist in general kitchen duties such as dishwashing, food prep, and equipment cleaning.

Customer Service:nInteract with customers to take pizza orders and address any special requests or concerns.nEnsure timely preparation and delivery of pizzas to customers.

Requirements:nAt least 1+ years as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurantnStrong knowledge of pizza dough preparation and pizza cooking techniques.nAbility to hand-stretch dough and create consistently shaped pizza bases.nFamiliarity with various pizza styles and toppings.nAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality.nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.nExcellent communication and customer service skills.
