Job Description

Field Service EngineernIn and around theLeicester, Coventry, Northampton area.nCompany van with fuel cardnCheck out the benefits at the end of the advertnThe Service Engineer delivers hands-on servicing and repair of water treatment equipment.nYou will be responsible for your own diary to ensure that client sites are visited and serviced in line with their service level agreement.nYou will undertake scheduled service, and one-off planned service outside of contract, along with emergency call out activity if required.nYou will also be responsible for the repair or installation of our equipment at customer sites.nWhat are the day to day duties?nUndertake planned and unplanned servicenPerform routine maintenance work including chemical sanitisationnMinimise customer down time by effectively planning and executing the worknDeliver and install new equipmentnTest and commission all work prior to leaving the work-sitenExplain and demonstrate how to correctly use the equipment if necessarynEnsure Customer sign-off of work prior to leaving sitenPromote Service contracts and report back new opportunities to line managernMaintain spare parts stock and keep up to date recordsnMaintain all toolsnActively participate in equipment servicing

Qualifications

What background and skills are you likely to have?nRelevant Equipment Service experience - possibly in an electro-mechanical environment, ideally in the water treatment sector.nAbility to workalone on customer sitesnExcellent communication skillsnAble to work at weekends if required forout of hours emergency work (rota system)nFull UK Driving licencenAble to cover around theLeicester, Coventry, Northampton area
