About the School - EYFS Teacher
Located in leafy Potters Bar, this well-run and improving Primary School has a requirement for a dynamic and ambitious EYFS Teacher to take on either a Nursery or Reception starting as soon as possible. Many of the children that enter the school have lower than expected ability in reading, writing and English Language as is common in the area. The school works hard to ensure these students bridge the gap which starts with excellent teaching in the EYFS. The school has good behaviour throughout and has invested heavily in its Early Years with large, modern classrooms that are fully resourced, and a great outdoor area well equipped for the children to play and learn. Although this school is set in a location where there is great pressure on places in schools they are committed to ensuring that no class goes over 25 children to ensure there is adequate provision for all students to make the best progression possible.
Role requirements - EYFS Teacher
Open to passionate EYFS Teachers at all stages of their careers who hold QTS and a desire to take on a Nursery or Reception class on a permanent basis.
This is a 'Good' Ofsted School that is looking to build on its strong foundations and improve further. A teacher with a similar ethos of self-development and progression would be best fit.
A desire to work in a great team environment with a 'can do' attitude is essential.
Excellent professional development and career progression is available.
