Job Title - Process TechnicianLocation - DumfriesHours - Mon to Fri (Day Shift 6am - 2pm, Back Shift 2pm - 10pm, Night Shift 10pm - 6am)Salary - Starting at £26kTalento are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a company who are experts in manufacturing economically sustainable rigid plastic packaging. They use their expertise to help their customers, and the industry as a whole, recover used plastic packaging, transform it into new feedstock, and manufacture new bottles from old-all in a sustainable, closed-loop system.Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Process Technician for their site in Dumfries.The Role -Operation, maintenance and improvement of the sites EBM machinesDirects and monitors the execution of the production schedulePerform preventative and reactive maintenance on related equipment as requiredPerforms production change overs and start up proceduresInspect the finished product - visual and/or by cameraExecute quality checksComply with company safety policy & procedures as well as maintain good housekeepingAbout you -Background and ExperienceMechanical / electrical experience would be advantageousExperience of Graham Wheel EBM machines would be advantageousGood understanding of Health & SafetyTechnical SkillsTool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageousInterpersonal SkillsExcellent team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approachEnergetic and enthusiastic approach to their current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritizationGood communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position.Whats in it for you?A salary of around £26,000 depending on experience24 days holidayPension contributionsCycle to work schemeInterested?
