Qualified teachers of children with vision impairment will provide specialist teaching, educational advice and support to schools, settings and families around an individual caseload of children/young people with vision impairments from 0-25 years of age.
Qualified teacher status (QTS) is required, but those without QTVI status will be considered and training provided. The role requires good leadership skills with an ability to build collaborative working relationships.
