Bathroom Showroom & Trade Sales Consultant

Overview:
Simon Acres Group are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bathroom Showroom & Trade Sales Consultant to manage a bathroom showroom and support our trade counter operations within a successful and well established plumbers merchant.
This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting clients with bathroom design and product selection, and supporting daily operations at the trade counter.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a flair for customer service, and a good understanding of trade counter sales.
Responsibilities:
Showroom Management & Customer Consultation (70%)
* Welcome and engage customers visiting the bathroom showroom, guiding them through product options and design ideas to meet their needs.
* Maintain the visual appeal and organisation of the showroom, ensuring that displays are current, clean, and well-stocked.
* Update and organise product literature, samples, and brochures to support customer choices.
* Stay informed on the latest trends, new products, and promotions related to bathroom design and fixtures.
Trade Counter Support (30%)
* Assist customers at the trade counter, processing sales transactions, providing product information, and fulfilling order requests.
* Provide support to the team during busy periods.
* Provide advice and assistance on basic plumbing products to support trade customers.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role within a retail, showroom, or trade sales environment, preferably with a focus on bathroom design.
* Familiarity with bathroom fittings, fixtures, and plumbing products is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
* Confident in sales and capable of building rapport with both retail and trade customers.
* Experience using Virtual worlds CAD software would be advantageous.
