We are partnering with a leading UK Managed Security Services business. A multi vendor Managed Security and PS/Consulting business, working with highly regulated commercial and public sector at enterprise including FS&I and Banking customers. They are now looking to build out their Presales function with 2 roles to include Security Presales Engineer/Consultant.


About...

Although multi vendor they focus strongly in the Microsoft and with the chance to add to your skills to include Google Chronicle. As such this role will require somebody with experience of managed cyber security products/services stacks (SIEM, Endpoint, Cloud Security, Network Security, EDR/XDR, Vulnerability etc). HOWEVER.. if you just have the Microsoft Security stack this unique opportunity will also train and develop you to possess Google Chronicle skills too


The Role...

As a Presales Engineer, you will support the sales team to drive customer wins, although you will not carry a number, as is so often the case. This role will see you Scope out RQ's, run customer workshops and work with a solutions architect peer to present to customers handing over to professional services/consulting for delivery.



Experience...

As you'd expect you will have ideally worked in either a security engineer, consultant or presales engineer/consultant in an MSSP already, or have worked in a shared service model as an inhouse cyber security engineer/consultant across a range of SIEM (Sentinel), Endpoint Services, Cloud Security, EDR/XDR, and Network Security. Plus you will ideally hold industry and vendor certifications.


Vendors include: Microsoft, Google, CrowdStrike, Recorded Future, Zscaler and PaloAlto but the focus will be mainly Microsoft and Google.
