Are you deeply passionate about early childhood development and skilled in crafting compelling educational content? We are seeking an experienced Course Writer to develop an immersive 3-hour course centred on Infant Development.


Job Description:

As a Course Developer specializing in Infant Development, you will be instrumental in creating a comprehensive course that delves into critical developmental milestones, effective caregiving strategies, and industry best practices for infants aged 0-12 months. Your expertise will empower parents, caregivers, and professionals with invaluable knowledge and tools to foster optimal infant growth and development.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a structured course outline that encapsulates key learning objectives.
  2. Craft clear, concise, and engaging lessons, activities, and assessments.
  3. Stay abreast of current research and evidence-based practices in infant development to ensure course content remains accurate and relevant.
  4. Determine the most suitable format (video, text, infographics) for different course components.
  5. Source external resources to enrich course materials.
  6. Collaborate closely with designers to ensure the course is well-structured, flows seamlessly, and provides an enriching learning experience.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
  2. Proven track record in curriculum development or educational content creation, particularly in infant development or early childhood education.
  3. Strong grasp of infant developmental milestones, caregiving practices, frameworks, and industry guidelines.
  4. Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts while maintaining engagement.


Desirable Skills:

Experience delivering live sessions would be advantageous, enhancing the interactive and dynamic aspects of the course.
