Barker Ross is recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver for our client based in Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton.
You will work as an FLT Counterbalance Driver as part of a wider team in a manufacturing environment.
Hours are:
Monday-Thursday 7:30 - 17:00
Overtime available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour with the potential increase depending on experience.
Overtime: £24.42 per hour
Key Duties:
Safely unload and load goods using appropriate manual handling equipment
Log all incoming and outgoing goods on the Warehouse Management System
Complete stock checks on time, safely, and accurately
Work collaboratively to achieve daily team targets
Report machinery faults and health and safety breaches following proper procedures
Responsibilities:
Safe operation of the associated process equipment.
Work safely by following the SOP and procedures.
Complete a visual safety inspection of the equipment prior to operation.
Operate the machinery and monitor it continuously to optimise running conditions.
Support the Production Supervisor with continuous improvement throughout the shift, reporting progress and track improvements.
