Electrical Design Engineer – Hybrid – Stafford

VIQU has partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing, with this role being part of the Energy team.

Our client is recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to oversee the full E, C & I design and implementation life cycle. The successful Electrical Engineer will work on projects primarily within thermal and hydro power generation.

Please note that this is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week required onsite in Stafford.

Key skills & responsibilities for the Electrical Design

Engineer:nStrong background within Electrical Engineering and E & I InstallationsnOversee full lifecycle design processnCreating designs from customer supplied specificationsnSupport Site Acceptance Testing / Commissioning phasenControl systems within energy / utilities sectornControl panel design buildnField cabling systemsnAutoCAD ElectricalnDocumentation to support project delivery (e.g. Functional Design Specification (FDS), Test Documentation, Manuals etc.)nSite surveys, prep Health & Safety documentationnStrong communication skillsnExperience with one of the following would be desirable:

(ControlLogix), (PC7S TIA Portal), (M580 M340)
