We are specialists in natural and smoke ventilation systems and have been importing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, and commissioning smoke ventilation systems for over 35 years for a variety of projects of all shapes and sizes.About the role:We are seeking an experienced electronic engineer to work in our head office based in Poole, Dorset.The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings. The primary responsibilities include designing electronic schematics and PCB layouts for electronic products, producing safe embedded software and testing your designs and software to the relevant standards.You will be working as part of a small team designing our next generation of products.The role may involve occasional on-site visits across the country for system support to project managers, installers, and commissioners.Duties and Responsibilities:Design, prototype and test electronic product designs to the specifications providedDesign and develop software for our range of productsProactively staying ahead of the latest trends to drive product development initiatives.Provide technical support to internal and external customers on new and existing products.Compile technical information for technical updates, product installation and operating manuals.Documenting development processes.About you:2+ Years of Experience in a similar roleLevel 5 and above Qualification in Electronics or equivalent experienceElectronics Schematic and PCB DesignExperience designing products including microcontrollers (STM32, PIC) and peripheral componentsStrong C and/or C++ SkillsStrong understanding of Git version controlExperience with Easy-PC desired but not essentialBenefits:23 days paid holiday, increasing up to a maximum of 30 days per annum plus bank holidaysCompany laptop and iPhoneBupa Healthcare for all employees after qualifying periodEnhanced sick pay after 12 months serviceCompany funded activities at Christmas and in the summerDevelopment Programme, up to 100% funding for development programmes for all staffPlease click the
