Leading IT Consultancy with offices in UK and Europe is looking to recruit a permanent Senior Java Developer with expert core Java 17 coding skills for Our Client, a prestigious international entity in the Entertainment sector.

This is a permanent role with excellent scope to further develop your technical experience and skills. The role will be based full time for 3 months at Our Client’s offices located in either City of London, West Sussex or Hertfordshire with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office thereafter. Occasional travel to Client sites for meetings may be required.

The successful candidate will join an established and experienced Java Consultancy team. Our clients pride themselves in employing high calibre IT consultants and software engineers, and this is a great opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced Java Consultants around.

Key skills to have:nExperience of working on large, complex Enterprise systemsnMinimum of 5 years experience in Java development including recent Java 17:nInterceptors and EvaluatorsnConcurrency and Multi-threadingnDesign Patterns and Functional programmingnAnnotation Processors and ReflectionnJava Security and advanced Exception HandlingnAn IT related degree or similar qualificationnTechnical skillset: excellent core Java, IntelliJ IDE, IntelliJ debugging, Javadocs GIT, JIRA, Swing, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web technologies, XML, Web Services, REST API, JSON, JQuerynProven strong communicator, who is able to speak about technical matters in non-technical English with business stakeholdersnFlexible, can-do attitude, capable of multi-tasking, structured approach, and works well within a team environment.

Nice to have skills:nPreferred additional technical skills: GraphQL, Postgres, SybasenExperience of the Entertainment business domainnGood front-end development including HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
