What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, manage, and implement expansion projects for the plant.
- Provide engineering support to operations and maintenance, resolving complex issues.
- Lead on-site IT systems, including SCADA, network, and EC&I support.
- Implement operational improvement projects.
- Oversee and further develop ongoing CapEx projects.
- Provide out-of-hours support for emergencies or plant issues.
What we want from you:
- HNC or higher in a relevant engineering discipline; electrical or controls & instrumentation focus preferred.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is advantageous.
- Prior experience in power generation sectors like Biomass, CHP, Energy from Waste, Coal, or CCGT.
- Project management experience, especially on plant upgrades.
- Experience managing budgets and training and developing staff.
- Supervisory or management experience in the power generation or waste sector.
