We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for an Upholstery Machinist, based in the Ilkeston area. Working in a small, friendly family run business, you will have previous experience in upholstery and soft furnishings.
Duties-
* Machining upholstery items for bespoke customers, working to various designs
* Machining caravan bedding
* Piping work
What we are looking for-
* Proven machining skills, including overlock and twin needle
* An excellent eye for detail and able to pattern match fabrics
* Previous experience of sewing upholstery, namely caravan bedding
* A good team player, with a willingness to assist in different areas
What's in it for you -
* Temporary to permanent role
* You will be shadowing fully trained and experienced staff initially
* Working Mon-Thurs 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm
* Pay £13 an hour
