 About the Role:
Are you an experienced healthcare professional seeking a rewarding challenge? Join us as a Disability Assessor and make a significant impact on the lives of WCA claimants. Use your clinical skills in a non-traditional setting to help individuals receive essential support and improve their quality of life. The Work Capability Assessment (WCA) determines eligibility for benefits due to illness, mental health or disability, primarily for Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Universal Credit. You'll evaluate how an individual's condition affects their ability to work, ensuring they get the support they need.

Personal Requirements:

Occupational Therapist / RGN / RNLD / RMN / Physiotherapist
MUST Have: 2 years qualified with a 2-year registration on the NMC/HCPC and 2 years’ clinical experience
Strong communication and typing skills
Ability to work under pressure, in a team, and autonomously 
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyse medical evidence and health questionnaires
Conduct face-to-face assessments to evaluate benefit eligibility
Compile detailed; accurate reports based on assessment findings
Determine the impact of claimants' conditions on their ability to work
Communicate effectively with claimants about the assessment process
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines
Ensure all assessments are conducted professionally and empathetically
