Key Responsibilities:
- Confined Space Operations: Perform tasks within confined spaces, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure personal and team safety.
- Safety Compliance: Follow confined space entry procedures, including the use of safety harnesses, gas detectors, and ventilation equipment. Maintain compliance with OSHA and company-specific safety standards.
- Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain various tools and equipment necessary for confined space work, such as welding equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
- inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of confined spaces and associated equipment. Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, safety checks, and any incidents. Complete required documentation for confined space entries.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to execute emergency procedures, including evacuation and first aid, if necessary. Participate in regular emergency drills and training.

Qualifications:

- Skills: Proficient in the use of safety equipment and tools related to confined space work. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in tight spaces, and standing for long periods.
- Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and environments. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Work primarily in confined spaces, which may include tanks, vessels, pits, and tunnels. Exposure to various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
- Safety: Strict adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
