Sinclair Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our clients team based in Runcorn.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
City and Guilds 18th edition wiring regulations - 2382
AM2
PASMA
IPAF
H&S
ECS Card.
Carry out all work in a strict compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (as amended)
To understand and comply with Company Policies and Procedures
To communicate updated Company Policies and Statements to on site personnel
To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures e.g. toolbox talks, PPE etc.
Due care and attention to mitigate any unpleasant working conditions by ensuring that PPE equipment is used properly, as and when required
Understand and comply with the Company Environmental Policies
Communicate with Management, other Supervisors, Electricians, Labourers, Apprentices and Customers
Communicate Staff Minutes to on site personnel
Responsible for planning, organising and assignment of work to on site personnel
Work flexibly and deal constructively with un-anticipated/variable situations, such as co-operative and not so co-operative customers
Liaise with Contracts Manager and on site personnel
Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard
Motivate personnel to increase productivity and meet deadlines and work goals
Ensure staff adhere to Safety regulations
Assist with electrical installations and trouble shooting
Use hand and power tools to current legislative standards, performance standards and in accordance with Company procedures
Assist with training of Electrical Apprentices
Ensure work is in compliance with electrical codes of practice
Carry out Supervisor checks (SF-042-XX)
Ensure that all personnel are using properly maintained equipment, compliant with electrical codes of practice, and adherence to safety regulations
Examine electrical services for correct working procedures
Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to Company specifications
Establish, or adjust, work procedures to meet schedules/deadlines
Process any non-conformities in accordance with Company Procedures
Report to Management any accidents, incidents or near misses
Ensure that all necessary paperwork and NICEIC records are completed to current legislative standards and in accordance with Company procedures
On completion of job, check that the area is left in a clean and tidy condition
Ensure Customer reference forms are completed
Complete handover to Customer
This position requires out of town travel
Have good timekeeping, and control of effective time management
Good level of physical fitness, including the ability to lift, work at heights and in differing conditions
Carry out any other reasonable duties, and responsibilities within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the post
Rate negotiable.
