The Role

As a Finance Business Partner with XPS you will be involved in:
  • Month-end reporting process accrual, prepayments, fixed assets and other balance sheet reconciliations
  • Annual budgeting and regular re-forecasting exercises.
  • Production of monthly P&L's and related variance analysis.
  • Business partnering - supporting leaders across the business in analysing and understanding financial performance.
  • Assisting the business to understand emerging financial risks and opportunities.
  • Helping to support a matrix of key performance ratio's, with trend analysis and projections.
  • Help ensure the business meets reporting deadlines and records revenue in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Proactively seek and implement improvements to financial processes.
  • Working to ensure cost benefit analysis work is robust, and that efficiencies are captured.
  • Ad-hoc financial project work
Your profile

Essential Criteria
  • Started studying towards a relevant Accounting Qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Minimum GCSE English Grade 4 and Maths Grade 6 and above.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance function specifically relating to month end processes.
  • Confident and outgoing personality.
  • An inquisitive mind and a positive can-do attitude
  • Necessary interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact with senior business management.
  • Good excel skills; capable of using Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, Vlookups and aware of potential pitfalls with using these features.
  • A self-starter attitude and demonstrate the ability to develop and improve processes.
  • Attention to detail with a sense of responsibility and ownership.
