Seeking a talented and motivated Project Mechanical Design Engineer.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of bespoke mechanical assemblies, with a focus on rotating machinery, mechanical handling, and fluid power systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop bespoke mechanical assemblies tailored to client specifications.
* Work extensively with rotating machinery, ensuring precision and reliability.
* Develop mechanical handling systems and fluid power systems to meet project requirements.
* Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD for designing and drafting mechanical components.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
* Conduct site visits and liaise with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support.
* Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered on time.
* Travel occasionally to various sites within the UK and overseas to oversee installation and provide onsite support.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory.
* Extensive experience with rotating machinery, mechanical handling systems, and fluid power systems.
* Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas as required.
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the engineering sector.
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
* Project management skills and experience.
