My client is a prominent main contractor specializing in construction projects in North London. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the project from initiation to completion, ensuring that it is delivered within scope, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, manage project teams, and maintain a focus on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites.
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
* Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
* Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Proficient in project management software and tools.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
