What's the role?
As a Learning Support Assistant in Tameside, you'll be ensuring our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll work closely with class teachers, supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. Whether you're helping a child grasp a tricky math concept or giving them the confidence to speak up in class, you'll play a vital role in shaping their future.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with a range of learning needs, tailoring your approach to ensure every student feels valued and included
Help create a positive, encouraging, and fun learning environment
Assist in preparing resources and classroom materials
Provide emotional and social support, encouraging students to reach for the stars
Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure every child gets the individual care they need to succeedWhy this role?
