Our client, a leader in the public sector, is currently seeking a Senior SAP Manufacturing & EWM Specialist for an 18-month contract role. This opportunity, based in Reading, is outside IR35 and involves joining a dynamic team to lead SAP S/4HANA implementations with a focus on Manufacturing and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
Key Responsibilities:
Spearheading SAP projects from initiation to completion
Configuring SAP Manufacturing (PP, QM, PM) and EWM modules
Leveraging advanced ABAP programming skills, including Fiori/UI5
Optimising end-to-end manufacturing and warehouse processes
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Experience in SAP projects, including a full-cycle greenfield implementation
In-depth knowledge of SAP Manufacturing and EWM modules
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA
Strong problem-solving and project management abilities
Excellent communication skills
SAP certifications are a plus
Technical Skills:
Mastery in SAP Manufacturing and EWM
Proficiency in ABAP, Fiori, and UI5
Experience with SAP Solution Manager and Activate methodology
Integration expertise with other SAP modules
Additional Information:
Ideally, you will have active DV clearance or be able/happy to gain clearance.
