This role would suit a Procurement Coordinator/Assistant Buyer who is looking to advance into management and build their own team in the future.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will:
* Maintain long standing supplier relations and assess their performance via KPI’s
* Send out RFQ’s to see if any cost savings can be made
* Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure sufficient stock availability for key customers
* Raising and expediting PO’s
* Identify cost saving opportunities for the department and action these
* Meet with suppliers to conduct quarterly performance reviews
About You
* 3+ years in a procurement role
* Understand procurement processes and best practice
* Experience in developing/maintaining supplier relations
* Experience working in a fast paced environment
* Positive attitude and sense of humour
