At Ignite we are looking for a Waste Management Operative
ROLE SPECIFICATION:
* Conduct all aspects of waste clearance & control both domestic and commercial
* Separate all recyclable and non-recyclable waste
* Attend offices and operational sites daily for collection/delivery of internal mail
* Movement of office furniture and equipment on an ad hoc basis as required
* Collection and delivery of company electronic equipment as directed by the IT Department
* Ground keeping duties as and when required
* Assisting movement, collection and delivery of company vehicles from numerous locations as directed by the Transport Manager
* Completion of all waste transfer documentation
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
QUALIFICATIONS
Full and valid driving licence.
Essential
Minimum 8 GCSE’s or equivalent, Grades A – C (including English & Math)
Desirable
HEALTH & SAFETY
Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training Essential
EXPERIENCE
Experience of working in a multi-sited company Essential
Experience of High Volume High pressure environmentsm Essential
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
Articulate and confident communication skills Essential
Good road knowledge of inner London and surrounding areas Essential
Able to work alone and within a team Essential
Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure Essential
