We provide practical landscape management solutions and facilitate end-to-end services to deliver a range of landscaping and countryside-related projects. We provide national coverage of services for our clients in multiple sectors including Construction, Highways, Rail and Infrastructure.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fencing operative at ATV Contract Services.

Primary role will be installing different types of fences across the UK, Types of fencing including but not limited to, Agricultural fencing, Deer fencing, Security fencing, Ecological fencing, Temporary and Domestic fencing.


This role includes moving plant and materials from site to site, installing of fences using plant and machinery or by hand. Occasional site clearance and ground works may be necessary. The Fencing operative will work as part of a team and will be expected to spend some time working away or at night.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in the fencing industry
  • Knowledge of how to install different types of fencing
  • Ability to read construction drawings and accurately measure plot boundaries
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for fence installation for example CAT scan
  • Experience and qualifications for plant considered advantageous for example Post knocker/Excavator
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid driver's license
  • Certifications in related fields (Cscs, Cpcs, Npors,) are a plus


Potential Earnings - Up to £40k including overtime.
