Senior Associate – Employment Birmingham (Hybrid/Flexible) National Law Firm | Top-Tier Employment Team If you’re an experienced Employment Solicitor ready for that next step into senior-level work, this could be the perfect move. We’re partnered with a national firm whose Employment practice is ranked in the Legal 500 and known for its exceptional client relationships, collaborative culture, and ambitious growth. The team is expanding in Birmingham and looking for a talented Senior Associate to join their highly respected group. The Role You’ll be part of a busy, friendly and forward-thinking Employment team, acting for clients across a wide variety of sectors from healthcare and education to retail, manufacturing and automotive. Your work will include a mix of: Employment Tribunal litigation and advocacy Advisory support on day-to-day HR issues and strategic projects Transactional and project work , such as restructures, TUPE and policy reviews Supervision and mentoring of junior team members Client training and business development , where you’ll help strengthen key relationships and win new work This is a genuinely varied and interesting position, offering exposure to major employers and high-quality, complex matters. About You We’re looking for someone who brings: 4+ years’ PQE in Employment Law, ideally gained in a reputable firm Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters Confidence managing client relationships and complex workloads Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset The ability to supervise and delegate effectively Experience working with regulated sector clients (particularly healthcare or education) would be a real bonus.
