Job Duties:
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students across various subjects
Follow the school's curriculum and guidelines to ensure effective teaching and learning
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with secondary school students
Strong communication and organisational skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Thorough understanding of the UK National Curriculum
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Excellent classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Experience with virtual or online teaching platforms
Working Conditions:
Part-Time hours, temporary position
